JaQelvis says: Solesbury Hill should be in every single movie trailer ever made. As far as movie trailer "kick it into happy gear" music goes, it sets the bar .
Rodge exclaims: Wow! This Shining movie looks fantastic. I'll go ahead right now and nominate it for Rodge's "Feel Good Movie of the Year". A definite "date flick." And Jack Nicklauson looks amazing. He's either getting more sleep or he found a great plastic surgeon. I don't know how he finds the time to act and play the senior golf tour. I bet he wakes up every morning and says "Damn, look how good I look! Look at me! I look good!" .

Very good movie. Trailer just doesn't meet the horror quota though. Kinda gives you the wrong look at it. And what numbskull left out that classic movie line, "Here's Johnny!" It's in very good condition for a film made in 1980 though.

The DAMN thing won't run! All I have on my screen is a little square in the upper left hand corner of the screen with a red square, a green circle and a blue triangle in it!!!

Using 'Salisbury Hill' was inspired! And the tone used for the word 'Shining' is just perfect.

"Salisbury Hill" was an inspired choice for the music, as is that inance track at the start, memories of so many kids' films.
Excellent, excellent job. I defy anyone to think-based on that trailer-that the film is anything other than a feel good sensation.

Comment-er #4 seems to miss the point entirely. OBVIOUSLY the trailer gives the wrong impression of the film and shows how easily movies can be marketed to a variety of demographics by simply editing the clips and playing happy music. Plus we all know what the movie actually is, so it's funny. It's called farce, Number 4.
